Our gneiss has qualities comparable to those of granite - exceptional strength, resistance to any climatic conditions and temperature amplitudes (frost resistance, moisture) and wear resistance.
Its natural rough and non-slip surface allows it to be used on any type of flooring. It is usually used in a thickness of 2-4 cm. In this thickness are the paving stones and shaped slabs (cut gneiss). Our gneiss is a natural solution to your needs that will stand the test of time.
Our gneiss pavers have a number of advantages.
Available in square (15cm x 15cm x 2-4cm) and rectangular (10cm x 20cm x 2-4cm and 15cm x 20cm x 2-4cm) shapes, they have a regular shape (unlike standard cut cube pavers) and significantly lower weight, with no less strength.
One europallet (weighing 1-1.1 tons) contains 15 sq.m. gneiss pavers, unlike other 5+cm thick natural stone pavers that contain between 2 and 7 sq.m. for the same weight.
The process of making them goes through cutting on a machine to get perfect right angles and rounding them (antiquing) by turning a drum.
The square and rectangular pavers obtained in this way allow laying in straight contours and certain shapes (with and without a joint, with different sizes - in horizontal and vertical order, herringbone, etc.)
Shaped (cut) gneiss for flooring (2-4 cm thick) is available in fixed widths of 10, 15, 20, 30 cm and free lengths.
Polygonal slabs for flooring (with a thickness of 1.5-2 cm) are available in 2 varieties: up to 12 pcs. in sq.m. and up to 20 pcs. per square meter.
When the pavement is only for pedestrians and the load is not intense, it is also possible to use the smaller thickness (1.5-2 cm) of shaped and unshaped stone.
